During this Seminar in Basingstoke they will:
- Understand what Bullying actually is and what it means
- Learn what makes someone become a Bully
- Realise why the Bully picks on YOU
- Develop non physical means of dealing with Bullies
- Learn how to get help from others and when to get help
- Learn about Street Self Defence and looking after yourself outside of your home
- Learn to defend yourself as a last resort using Karate and Martial Arts Techniques against the most common attacks Bullies use.
This format of the seminar will split between discussion based, role playing and partner work for the actual self defence strategies.
Local Education Authority Studies show:-
1. 1 in 4 Primary school children are bullied more than twice in any term
2. 50% of pupils experience occasional bullying in any school term
3. More than 25% of pupils are threatened with violence and 50% of these threats are carried out
4. Attacks on boys account for 75% of these incidents
