Mixed Martial Arts Adult's Classes
This class is one that will develop the fitness levels! It involves lots of time using equipment and bag work.
This class is designed to work hard on the key concepts of MMA training.
We’ll work at different ranges to encompass stand up, grappling and ground work. We do lots of conditional drills to safely practise the skills that we are working on and to get feedback from partners.
This class is suitable for both men and women.
A large part of what we do in this class is to develop our fitness, we’ll do this through a number of exercises, some for a general fitness base, similar to those in a gym, but with a twist. We’ll work on developing core strength and work to enhance both dynamic and static flexibility.
We make a lot of use of the training equipment that we have as part of the class, so you can expect to do plenty of work with the pad, shields and kickbags.
For those interested in something more than the fitness side of this class we also add in some combat based work with a partner to test the techniques that are learnt. This part of the class is optional, but it is also carried out with a view to enhancing the self defence and sparring skills of the participants and includes both conditional drills and also free sparring.
